Jonathan Pettigrew has dedicated his scholarship to working alongside community members to produce novel health intervention materials that serve youth, families, schools, and society. He participates in numerous interdisciplinary projects that involve designing, delivering, and evaluating health interventions through partnerships with communities in the United States and worldwide. He is faculty with the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and is an affiliated scientist with ASU's REACH Institute. He has published books, chapters, and peer-reviewed articles that advance understanding of adolescents, family, and health interventions. Some of his research appears in venues like the Journal of Adolescent Research, Journal of Family Communication, American Journal of Community Psychology, Health Education, and Prevention Science.
