In his current role, Oliver is responsible for the strategic marketing and communications of Arizona State University’s Knowledge Enterprise (KE). Oliver acts as the liaison and brand portfolio manager for the communications and marketing efforts of ASU’s J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute, Global Security Initiative, Interplanetary Initiative and many more. He is part of the KE Strategic Marketing and Communications team, which translates the breakthroughs and advancements of ASU’s annual multi-million dollar research enterprise.
Oliver has provided strategic communications and marketing expertise to an international portfolio of clients, including the BBC, Royal University of Winchester, and most recently, ASU. Bringing this multi-cultural experience to higher education provides him with a balanced perspective of various best practices, industry standards, and contemporary strategies. He is an ardent advocate for the Global Security Initiative's multi-million dollar international portfolio, acting as the university’s hub for interdisciplinary research and programming on large-scale, complex defense and security challenges.
