Long Bio
Genevieve Chow is a Singaporean ecophile residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Sustainability with Arizona State University. An avid traveler and former premium class flight attendant for Emirates Airlines, Genevieve has traveled to 67 countries on six continents and hopes to make a living from bringing her vast cultural knowledge and love of nature and animals together to improve the environment and society.
Genevieve is a member of international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma where membership signifies recognition of being among the top 10% of business students globally. Genevieve is eager to make a positive impact on the world by contributing to its sustainability and helping with wildlife conservation.
During her time with Emirates Airlines, Genevieve received a Najm Award for customer service excellence as well as numerous compliments from colleagues and customers for her work ethic, quick thinking, and approachability. Her experiences working for the airline include managing unruly passengers, working alongside colleagues from nearly 160 countries, and responding efficiently and professionally to medical and aircraft emergencies. The time Genevieve spent living in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, China, and the U.S. have endowed her with deep understanding of the cultures within those countries.
Genevieve grew up playing rugby in Singapore where she was selected for the Singapore National Touch Rugby team. She represented the Emirates Airlines Women’s Rugby team at the Kinsale 7s tournament in Ireland in 2017 and played for the Dragons rugby club in Shanghai, China from 2023 to 2025, playing a key role in the success of the women’s team and contributing to men’s team practices.
In her free time, Genevieve enjoys hiking, flying small airplanes and caring for her two rescue dogs.
