Andrea Rissing is an assistant professor of sustainable food systems in the School of Sustainability. Her research themes include U.S. farmers’ diverse livelihood strategies, processes of agrarian change and local food system governance. Previously, she was the President’s Postdoctoral Scholar in Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University and led qualitative research for a National Institute of Food and Agriculture project on crop diversification.
