Cynthia Padavano has been working at Arizona State University since 2014 and most recently joined the EdPlus Digital Learning (EDL) team in May 2022 as an Instructional Designer. She has been involved in multiple projects, which include the Master of Computer Science (MCS) online program through the Fulton School of Engineering (FSE) and the JD online program the the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law. Her specialities extend from design to education technology application, LMS migration, and Accessibility remediation.
Prior to working at EdPlus, she was an Instructional Design Associate with Enterprise Technology's (ET) Learning Experience Design team from August 2018. She provided course design consultations to ASU faculty and staff; developed workshops and instructor resources on teaching strategies with learning technologies; and managed course design projects using Instructure's Canvas LMS platform.
Prior to ET, she was a Global Educator for Global Launch from May 2014. Her main role was English instruction, but she also held multiple positions and participated in several projects during her employment, such as Technology Coordinator, which involved not only managing several education technologies used in the English program but also providing technical support and training to both instructors and users (learners) in the program. She was also a member of AZTESOL where she attended several professional development workshops and presented on multiple education-related topics related to education technology and group dynamics.
