- Ligia Bezerra has taught Portuguese, Spanish, and English in Brazil and in the U.S. Her research interests include Latin American literature and culture, consumption, everyday life, neoliberalism, and democracy.
- Sarah Florini is an Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies in the Department of English and the Associate Director of the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics at Arizona State University.
- Ruiz-Gonzalez, a native from Mexico City, is studying the fourth year of the Spanish Latin American Ph.D. program at ASU.
