Ligia Bezerra has taught Portuguese, Spanish, and English in Brazil and in the U.S. Her research interests include Latin American literature and culture, consumption, everyday life, neoliberalism, and democracy.

Sarah Florini is an Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies in the Department of English and the Associate Director of the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics at Arizona State University.

Fine holds a doctorate in English with an emphasis in Literature, Social Justice, and Environment. She is an instructor in ASU's Writing Programs.

Concetta Bondi, PhD, is an Associate Teaching Professor at ASU. She directs the Spanish for the Professions program and Internship. Her research explores Chicanx/Latinx identity, art, and urban culture in Phoenix.

Carrillo's work looks at the role of agency in historically marginalized communities, with a particular focus on Latinx students. He co-hosts the podcast Block Chronicles (BC).

Katherine Morrissey is an Assistant Professor of Film and Media Studies. Her research focuses on representations of female desire in popular culture, genre networks, and the impacts of digitization on creative communities.

Rafael Martínez is an assistant professor of Southwest Borderlands in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts. Rafael’s work focuses on immigration, migration, and the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands.
