Olenina specializes in Russian literature and visual culture, as well as media theory with an emphasis on performance and embodied spectatorship.

Dr. Sandoval currently researches celebrations of DAY OF THE DEAD in the U.S. in order to examine how the holiday has developed from ancient MesoAmerican ritual to American popular culture.

Ligia Bezerra has taught Portuguese, Spanish, and English in Brazil and in the U.S. Her research interests include Latin American literature and culture, consumption, everyday life, neoliberalism, and democracy.

Sarah Florini is an Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies in the Department of English and the Associate Director of the Lincoln Center for Applied Ethics at Arizona State University.

Ruiz-Gonzalez, a native from Mexico City, is studying the fourth year of the Spanish Latin American Ph.D. program at ASU.

Concetta Bondi holds a Masters degree in Spanish from McGill University, Canada and completed her PhD in Chicanx Studies at Arizona State University.
