I have 30 years experience in education, 25 of those in higher education, teaching both online and traditional classes. My undergrad degree is in education, with emphasis on special education and my graduate degree is in Counselor Education, both earned at ASU! Go Devils! I also completed a school counselor certification program at ASU. I began my career in public education, but moved into higher education soon after, and haven't looked back since. Over the years, I have taught a variety of classes, from adolescent development, to leadership in business, to multicultural counseling (and everything in between!). I have also taught parenting classes, opened a charter school, and have been an access consultant, working with college students with disabilities. My passion is access and inclusion, ensuring all students have the tools they need, to be successful. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
