Heather MacDonald is an Instructor of First-Year Composition in the ASU Writers' Studio since 2015, and has taught college writing since 2008.

Umar has been teaching Arabic and English for 18 years and his research interest is the interplay between Syntax and Semantics in English and Arabic. He is currently researching Adverbial ordering in varieties of Arabic.

Edmonds is a native Arizonan and her professional background is in the area of employee and organizational learning.

Jared Klemp is a Writing Programs Instructor and scholar studying experiments with character in 20th-century British and Irish modernist fiction.

Sean Tingle teaches ENG 105 in ASU’s Writers’ Studio and serves as an Associate Curriculum Lead. Their work centers on online student success, accessibility, innovative instructional design, and AI-supported pedagogy.

Professor Wortley is involved in college level writing discourse and has presented at multiple national conferences on the topics of student engagement and instructor humor use as a method of community creation in the online learning environment.
