Long Bio
Dr. Valles is a proud Sun Devil whose journey in education began as an undergraduate at Arizona State University in 2002. In 2017, she returned to ASU and joined the faculty at Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation as a Clinical Assistant Professor. With over 20 years of experience as a former middle school math teacher; district coach; director of curriculum, instruction, and assessment and more, each within face-to-face, blended, and online modalities, Dr. Valles brings expertise in multimodal instruction, learner-centered pedagogy, the development of flexible, inclusive curricula, and leadership in coaching and mentoring that meet the needs of today’s learners and educators.
