Dr. Kristina Valles is a native to Arizona and loves the desert. She has been involved in various aspects of education since 2005 starting with teaching, then moving on to curriculum writing, and various technological adventures. Dr. Valles received her Doctorate from Grand Canyon University in Organizational Leadership and Development. She holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Dr. Valles' research focuses on the identity of instructional coaches and the influence on coaching relationships as well as teacher preparation. She holds multiple Arizona certifications supporting a range of learners: Standard Professional Elementary (K-8); Middle Grades Endorsement (5-9); Middle Grades Mathematics (5-9) Endorsement; and Structured English Immersion (PreK-12).
