Taylor Ducklow (they/them) brings over a decade of co-design and community facilitation experience from non-profit, public, and higher education industries. They develop training programs based on compassion and belonging and oversee cultural and structural change management processes for various organizations.
In their current role as Higher Education Design Facilitator at the University Design Institute, Taylor co-designs and facilitates organizational development processes for ASU Health Literacy, the College of Health Solutions, Fulton Schools of Engineering, and ASU Staff Council. They have also trained over 150 university staff in Inclusive Excellence practices through the Advanced Leadership Initiative, an industry-leading leadership development program for higher education leaders. Additionally, in their previous role as Assistant Director of Experiential Learning, they led the development and facilitation of the National Work-Integrated Learning Accelerator Institute for over 30 higher education leaders. Their work in experiential learning included the creation of the Elevate Experience Finder tool.
During their Master of Arts in Communication, Taylor designed and implemented training aimed at increasing safety for transgender employees, reaching over 150 employees in higher education and municipalities. Through this work, they are in the process of publishing their cumulative research and have been awarded the 2SLGBTQIA+ Leadership Graduate Student Award by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Taylor is certified in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitation, Hands-On Thinking Coaching, and the ASU Spark Method and has training in facilitating liberating structures, global advocacy, and transformative justice.
Taylor also has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona, facilitates mutual aid circles with trans, queer, and neurodivergent audiences, and is an advocate for local mutual aid organizations.
