Barnaby Wasson is an Instructional Designer and Trainer for ASU Enterprise Technology while completing graduate studies focused on Public Interest Technology and Sustainability Leadership.
Nearing thirty years at Arizona State University, Mr. Wasson has over 20 years of experience in leadership and management roles, facilitating, fostering, and fomenting innovative and transformative academic, administrative, operational, and research practices through the safe infusion of information and technology practices and solutions. He has worked with faculty and university staff, pre-service and in-service teachers, general and at-risk student populations, and community members promoting safe, innovative, and collaborative practices in education, technology, and media integration. He has extensive experience leading PreK-12 outreach programs out of Arizona State University and has taught in school districts within the Phoenix Urban Core area.
In 2003, Apple recognized Mr. Wasson as an Apple Distinguished Educator for his innovative use of technology and media literacy, fostering literacy development within urban and rural migrant Latino and Native American student populations.
