Edgard Luque is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Information Systems Department at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, where he teaches courses in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics. With over twenty-five (25) years of experience as a data scientist and technology entrepreneur, Edgard has held high-impact leadership roles, including Chief Data Scientist, Chief Information Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Head of Latin American Operations for the Gallup Poll. During his decade at Microsoft Corporation, he led the deployment of large-scale solutions in software development, knowledge management, data warehousing, data science, and strategic management for Microsoft’s top clients.
In academia, Edgard is recognized for his unique ability to bridge theory and practice, inspiring future business leaders to develop solutions to today’s challenges using Big Data, Deep Learning, and Advanced Analytics.
