Long Bio
Monica Paschke is a dedicated student in the Bachelor of Science program in Counseling and Applied Psychological Sciences at Arizona State University. With a strong academic foundation in criminal justice and psychology, Monica brings over a decade of hands-on experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
Her professional journey includes roles as a High Needs Care Coordinator, Case Manager, and Clinical Interventionist, where she has worked extensively with at-risk youth, individuals with developmental disabilities, and families in crisis. Monica is passionate about culturally competent care and collaborative problem-solving, and she has been instrumental in developing safety plans, facilitating family-centered meetings, and connecting clients with vital community resources.
Monica’s work is informed by certifications in CPR/First Aid/AED, HIPAA compliance, suicide prevention (ASIST), and mandated reporting. She is also trained in motivational interviewing and has specialized knowledge in areas such as domestic violence, substance use, and the impact of trauma on child development.
Currently pursuing her degree at ASU, Monica is committed to advancing her expertise in counseling and psychological sciences to better serve her community. Her approach is grounded in empathy, integrity, and advocacy, and she aims to empower individuals and families through resilience-building and holistic support.
